Mr. Brown comes to Liberty Middle School with a wide array of experience and enthusiasm. With a Bachelor of Science in Education earned from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a Masters of Arts in Education earned from Tennessee State University in Nashville, and 23 years in education, Mr. Brown has proven his dedication to the education of our youth.

Mr. Brown has an extensive background not only in education but in athletics. His career in athletics include college football at the University of Alabama, where he proved at an early age, his abilities to lead his team as their captain to national championships. After completing his degree in education, it was his skill as a leader, and natural abilities to work well with others that led him to a career in the National Football League. He played for teams such as the New York Jets, the Saint Louis Rams, and the Atlanta Falcons.

After experiencing professional football, Mr. Brown rekindled his desires for education and decided to pursue his love for teaching. Through his passion for education and athletics, he was able to blend his talents and has spent most of his early career in education teaching and coaching. As a coach, Mr. Brown committed himself to lead his students to many state championships and playoffs, but as a teacher, education still took precedence in his heart. Therefore, in 2008 Mr. Brown completed his degree in Masters of Education, enabling him to again be placed in a role of leadership; this time as an administrator.

Mr. Brown has two children, Collin and Anna Katherine.
