Hello, my name is Ashley Horne. This is my fifth year teaching at James Clemens High School and I love being a JET! I will be teaching Chemistry I this year.  I am also the Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, and Interact Club Sponsor. 

I served eight years in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, I had the opportunity to serve my country and continue my education. I separated from active duty in 2014 to pursue my degree in education full-time. I received a Bachelor of Science in Science Education from North Carolina State University and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  I have experience teaching Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, Earth and Space Science, Introduction to Biotechnology, and Environmental Science.
