I am excited to be part of the Nibley Elementary Nighthawk team. I feel blessed to be following in the footsteps of the excellent administrators that have worked at Nibley Elementary through the years. I look forward to introducing myself to you and providing support for you and your children. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with the amazing group of students, parents and staff at Nibley Elementary. 

I grew up in Preston, Idaho, the ninth of twelve children. I live in Lewiston with my husband Ted and our two dogs, Izzy and Sadie. We have five sons and eleven grandchildren. We love spending time with them! As a family, we also enjoy going to the USU Aggie football and basketball games. Family has always been an important part of my life and I am thrilled to join the Nibley Elementary Family.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a paraprofessional and a secretary.  After raising my boys, I returned to school where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and later a Master of Educational Leadership. Since graduating, I’ve taught kindergarten, 6th grade and 5th grade. Most recently, I have served as the Assistant Principal at Heritage Elementary. I can tell that Nibley Elementary is an amazing place to learn and grow! I am anxious to work together to build upon the strong foundation of learning that is so clearly evident. I firmly believe that each person is unique and important in our school community. This philosophy will guide all that I do as an administrator. I am committed to adding my strengths to yours by building strong collaborative relationships with each of the staff, students and families.
