The Mountainside community has a reputation for placing a high regard on the education of their students. I am excited to be a part of such a great school. I grew up in Smithfield and graduated from Sky View High School. After high school I spent a few years serving in El Salvador and developed a love for Central America. I returned to Cache Valley and graduated from Utah State University with my B.A degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. I later returned to USU’s beautiful campus to get my M.S in School Administration. I began my Career at Lincoln Elementary teaching 3^rd grade. I then moved to Greenville Elementary and taught 4^th 5^th and 6^th grades there. In my years of teaching I developed a strong belief that every student can learn, and in holding every child to high standards. I have also seen the power of positivity in the lives of my students and believe in creating a school environment where kids, faculty, and staff feel loved and cared for. My wife, Shalese, teaches special education in Cache District and we have 4 wonderful children. I look forward to working together to create a school community where our students can excel in their education.
