I grew up in Smithfield and attended Summit Elementary, North Cache Jr. High, and Sky View High School.   I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. I taught one year in the Cache County School District before moving to Tempe, Arizona for my husband to attend school.

While In Tempe, I received my Masters of Science in Administration from Arizona State University. I also taught in the Tempe Elementary School District for 10 years.  I have two sons that were both born in Arizona. In 1999, my husband and I decided to move back to Cache Valley. It was the best decision we have made.

Since returning to Cache Valley, I have worked as the Vice Principal at Cedar Ridge Middle School, the Principal of Summit Elementary, the Principal of Birch Creek Elementary, and the Principal at Providence Elementary.  

I feel fortunate to be returning to Birch Creek Elementary. This is such an amazing opportunity to work with such a highly qualified faculty and staff.
