Mrs. Kristi H. Mullins

Education

I graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School in Trussville, AL in 1997. After high school, I attended and graduated from The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) receiving my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education in 2003. After teaching for a year, I began and finished my Masters Degree in Mathematics Education (GPA 4.0) from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) in 2005!  After several more years, I decided to go back to school again, and attended Liberty University, where I graduated with an Education Specialist (GPA 4.0) degree in Curriculum and Instruction 2015.  Since that time, I have completed 55 of 60 hours towards my doctoral degree.

Experience

I began teaching in 2003 at Spain Park High School in Hoover, AL and taught geometry for two years while coaching the junior varsity cheerleaders.  In 2005, I returned to my Alma Mater, Hewitt-Trussville High School and taught Algebra 2, Algebra 3 with Statistics, and Geometry.  I have also taught math at several junior colleges as well as a private school in Georgia.  After moving to the Wiregrass area, I began teaching Geometry, Precalculus, and other upper level mathematics courses at Cottonwood High School.  I started teaching at RMS in the spring of 2019.

Bio

My husband, Eric, and I moved our family of six to this area in 2016 for  his job with Southern Nuclear.  Our four children all attend RES and RMS.  We love being here in Rehobeth and enjoy getting involved in this community.  Go Rebels.
