My name is Christy Heard, and I have been teaching at Rehobeth Middle School for 19 years. I began as a Special Education Resource teacher, and worked with 8th grade students for two years. I then transferred as a sixth grade math teacher, and stayed in that position for 9 years. I took the Life Skills unit in 2015, and that is my current teaching position at the middle school. I have a BS and MS in Special Education Collaborative Teaching, as well as a teaching certification in Mathematics for grades 4-8.  I love teaching school, and look forward to many more years at Rehobeth!

I have been married for 18 years, and have a daughter and a son. We also have a crazy, but loving dog named Scout. He's been a part of the family since 2019. I love taking trips with my family. We enjoy spending time at the lake and the beach.
