Who can use a Family Resource or Youth Service Center?  Centers receive a state grant based on the member of students eligible for free school meals.  However, once a center has been established, all children, youth, and their families become eligible to receive services.  Those children in greatest need will be given priority.

Family Resources Centers are located in or near elementary schools and serve children ages 2-12 and their families.  Youth Service Centers are usually located in or near middle schools and serve middle and high school students.

Our Mission:  The school-related Youth Service Centers have been created in response to the Kentucky Education Reform Act.  The Centers have been designed with the intent of meeting the needs of economically disadvantaged children, youth, and their families; thus enhancing students' ability to succeed in school.

    *****IMPORTANT MESSAGE******

Anyone receiving services from the Youth Services Center must attend a parent teacher conference or one workshop per service received from the center.
