As her career progressed, she took on greater responsibilities, eventually assuming the role of Assistant Principal at the same institution.

Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Buettner demonstrated a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern education. Her dual experience as both a teacher and an administrator provided her with a comprehensive view of the school system, from curriculum development to student support and enrichment.

Retirement and Continued Service

Upon her retirement from full-time duties at Hartselle Junior High School, Mrs. Buettner's dedication to education did not wane. Instead, she found new ways to contribute her expertise to the betterment of Hartselle City Schools.
