Application Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the Hamilton County School District. Individuals seeking employment in our school system must submit the required documentation, subject to the job classification. Application and reference forms can be picked up in our office; these forms can also be printed from the links included on this page.

Instructional (includes teachers, guidance counselors, media specialists, and other certificated positions)	Application for Employment Reference Form for Certificated Applicants - 3 required A copy of the valid teaching certificate or a copy of the Statement of Eligibility from the Florida Department of Education, confirming that the applicant is eligible for either a temporary or professional teaching certificate
Non-Instructional (includes office support staff, paraprofessionals, custodians, nutrition services employees, bus drivers, and other support positions)	*Note: some non-instructional positions require that the applicant complete additional assessments. See the job posting for details.* Application for Employment Reference Forms for Non-Instructional Applicants - 3 required A copy of the high school/GED diploma Proof that the applicant has met the requirements of the No Child Left Behind law (required for paraprofessional applicants only)
Administrative (includes directors, principals, coordinators, and other supervisory positions)	Application for Employment Reference Forms for Certificated Applicants - 3 required A copy of the valid teaching certificate or a copy of the Statement of Eligibility from the Florida Department of Education, confirming that the applicant is eligible for either a temporary or professional teaching certificate
Supplemental (includes athletic coaches, club sponsors, and other group sponsors)	Note: applicants for athletic coaching positions must possess either a valid Florida Educator's Certificate or a coaching certificate.
