    There are many articles out there on the topic of sports nutrition, but it can be difficult to sift through them all to find useful, accurate information. Check out this article by Colorado State University nutrition scientists for an easy to understand approach to nutrition.

    Sweat rate 

    Athletes know it's important to hydrate, but most do not know how much they need.  Determining your sweat rate is one of the most valuable ways you can improve your training. And calculating sweat rate is easy. Click here for a step by step tutorial on how to determine your fluid loss. This will tell you how much fluid (workout & post-workout combined) you should drink.
