    Mountain Avenue PTA invites all parents to share their time and talents. With a multitude of programs and events, we have a great variety of volunteering opportunities available. We are happy to include you in any volunteering effort, whether it is for an hour a week at home or at school or at a particular event that interests you.     IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING (LAST UPDATED 1/30/2023)

    As a reminder, please make sure you have completed the Volunteer requirements listed below. Bring the following paperwork to the office at your earliest convenience so you are cleared to volunteer. You may also email the first two items to Ms. Tomassian (stomassian@gusd.net).

     

    • 2022-2023 Mountain Avenue Volunteer Agreement. You may request a print copy from the office instead.

    • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination – or negative COVID test within 48 hours of campus volunteering.

    • Negative TB test on record. Contact the Health Clerk if you are unsure your record is up-to-date.

    • PTA Volunteer Waiver – You may email this to our president at amlapena.pta@gmail.com instead. You may also request a print copy.

    • Bring photo ID to the office to register with Mountain Avenue's Raptor Visitor Management System.

    • Anyone volunteering for more than 15 hours per year is required to be cleared through our District's Human Resources Department, including fingerprinting, TB test clearance, and proof of COVID vaccination. Any questions, please contact the front office at 818.248.7766.
