Staying Healthy

  • Since the beginning of the pandemic, Glendale Unified has implemented multiple layers of mitigation on our campuses to protect students and employees while continuing to create a welcoming environment and foster a positive culture of learning for all students. The District’s health and safety measures are continuously updated based on guidelines from the California and Los Angeles County Public Health Departments.

    Vaccination

Glendale Unified strongly encourages vaccination for all students. Vaccination is required for all Glendale Unified employees and volunteers.

    Daily Health Checks

All students and employees are asked to conduct a daily health check and stay home if you are feeling sick. Students and employees are strongly encouraged to test if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

    Masks

Masks are strongly recommended for all students, employees, and visitors.

    COVID-19 Testing

Glendale Unified continues to offer on-site COVID-19 rapid testing at two locations. Additionally, home test kits are available at all school and district sites.

    Quarantine and Isolation

Glendale Unified follows all quarantine and isolation guidelines from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
