General information about Online Ceramics
-
For the time being I am going to keep things simple, light and easy. I do not want to complicate our lives too much right now. We will not be having a formal class meeting during your regular class hours. There will be check-in questions in Google Classroom that let me know that you are "checking in." The first one is posted and due by Wednesday - it is simply: "How are you?"
We will have a weekly assignment that will be a project that can be done at home. I will ask for a photo (or photos) of the project and a short reflection on the experience. I will only use the projects to enhance or improve your grade. I would love to be able to share the clever, fun or interesting ones on our @cvceramics Instagram feed. They may also be added to a Google Slides project to share results with your class.Right now, the most important thing to me is your well-being. This is a stressful time and I hope you are finding healthy ways to weather the storm. You probably know that I adore my dog Hank, so we are going for lots of local walks and doing little house projects. It is so important that you follow the Stay@Home guidelines, to protect yourselves and your loved ones.I also am going to have virtual office hours. Everyday, from 8 - 10 AM I will be free to answer any e-mail or messages on Google classroom. If you have not joined your Google classroom, please email me for your code to your Google Classroom. email is: mflower@gusd.netI miss you and being in the studio with 80's music playing loud.Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
