We appreciate all the benefits volunteers bring to our school and to our children. We encourage having volunteers in the classrooms helping teachers and students. We must maintain high quality instructional time and uphold privacy laws, which protect our children. In order to volunteer here at Lincoln, we request that you follow the guidelines below. State law and county regulations require that volunteers who have contact with staff or students, either in classroom, library, computer lab, or at other school activities, have a TB (tuberculosis) clearance. A TB clearance must be met with a TB Mantoux skin test within 60 days before a volunteer can work directly with students or staff for the first time. Please bring proof of your TB clearance to the school office. It will be good for 4 years. You must also review and sign the Volunteer Confidentiality and Expectations Affidavit (link below) and turn it into the office along with the TB clearance. If you have any questions, please contact the front office.
