To clear an absence for a student please do one of the following within three days:

1. Email the office at lisaghoolian@gusd.net

           **  Preferred Method ** 

2. Call the school at 818-242-3747 during school hours

3. Leave a message at 818-242-3747 ext. 1109 after 4:00PM and before 7:30AM.
If reason for absence is illness, please specify illness tupe: cold, fever, sore throat, etc.

According to state law, the only excused absences are for illness, medical treatment, bereavement, religious holiday and some legal commitments. Family vacations or personal business are considered unexcused reasons for absence.

Teachers are not required to provide makeup work for unexcused absences.
