Good afternoon, I wanted to take a minute and thank our staff, students, and families for their patience and support this past week as we switched to remote learning. I’m happy to announce that we will be back to our regular schedule for this year on Monday January 25th. This means Pre-K - 6, will be every day and 7-12 will resume their hybrid schedule. Mr. Cervola will push out a reminder of the hybrid schedule over the weekend. Again, thank you all for your efforts and your support. Jack Etter Superintendent Gilboa-Conesville Central School

Just a reminder to Middle and High School students: Your second semester half year courses begin this Monday, January, 25th. Grades 8, 11, and 12 will receive copies of their new schedule in first period class on Monday. For grades 7, 9, and 10: if you have your original schedule please refer to that wherever you see "S2" classes. If you do not still have a copy of your schedule, all classes should be loaded into Schoology for you to access. Be sure to log in there before Monday to make sure you have all of the information you need to attend second semester (half year) classes. We will continue to keep you all informed if anything changes with our expected Monday return date. Be well, stay safe, and thank you as always for your continued support.

Good Afternoon. First and foremost, I want to thank our staff, students, and community for all the support we have received for our school during these difficult times. I appreciate everyone's flexibility and understanding. We have finished all staff and student contact tracing. If you have not heard from us, then you have not been exposed to the COVID positive staff member. As of now, we are scheduled to return on Monday, January 25th with Pre-K through 6 being in-person and 7th through 12th grades returning to their hybrid schedule. We will push out reminders as we get closer to Monday. Learning materials, including Chromebooks, were sent home to students today and a few more will go out early tomorrow due to special circumstances. If you have any questions or concerns please email Mr. Cervola at tcervola@gccs.us There have been some questions as to why we brought the Chromebooks back into school and the answer is because we use them for instruction on a daily basis. The additional 80 Chromebooks we ordered last summer for remote learning are still on backorder. We will be making food available for pick up tomorrow (Wednesday the 20th) from 12:30 to 2:30pm. Specifics for how this will work will be posted later today. Stay safe, stay happy. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for all of your support of our school and our students. Jack Etter Superintendent Gilboa-Conesville Central School District

Good Evening, Due to a GCCS staff member testing positive for COVID-19, there will be a Superintendent’s Conference Day tomorrow: Tuesday, January 19th. There will be no school for students tomorrow so that we staff can prepare for remote learning, beginning Wednesday the 20th. All students will learn remotely from home this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. High School students will follow their daily schedule already in place, while elementary students will get a schedule from their teachers. At this point, we anticipate resuming in-person and hybrid learning on Monday the 25th, but that is subject to change based on contact tracing and we will update as we know more. We continue to prioritize the health and safety of the children, staff, and families in our community. Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation. Please continue to check our school's website for updated information.
