Block TK is a prestigious award that recognizes students at Temperance Kutner Elementary by highlighting their achievements in mind, body, and spirit. To earn this award, students need to fulfill criteria across three distinct categories, demonstrating excellence in various aspects of their student life. The criteria for earning this award reflects a well-rounded student that embodies the Clovis Unified motto of, “Be the best you can be in mind, body, and spirit.” Students are encouraged to strive for excellence by earning points for their academic performance, school participation in sports or performing arts, and their outstanding character on and off campus.

 

This award is presented to students who meet the category criteria once per semester. Students who get Block TK for the semester, will be recognized at the Quarter 2 and Quarter 4 award ceremonies. For students who achieved Block TK for both Semester 1 and Semester 2, they will be recognized at a special Double Block TK event in the Spring, by invitation only.

 The first semester Block TK applications are due January 22, 2025 by 3:00 PM. There will be no late applications accepted. Please carefully review our Block TK General Expectations above.
