Welcome back to another school year! We stand committed to providing the quality education that our community expects from Clovis schools.
Jefferson Elementary has a long tradition of academic excellence. In 2018 Jefferson was named a California Distinguished School. In 2019 and in 2020, Jefferson received the California Business Excellence in Education Award. We feel that our parent and community involvement is essential to the ongoing success at Jefferson. I welcome you to participate whenever possible. Please check with your child’s teacher, our office staff, or our Parent Club for information on how to stay involved in your child’s education. I believe that collaboration between parents, teachers, and community is the most effective way of getting students to achieve their potential. Please consider getting involved with our Parent Teacher Club (PTC), School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), Intercultural Diversity Advisory Committee (IDAC) or School Assessment and Review Team (SART). We are fortunate to have a committed parent community and know our campus and students are better because of the incredible support.
At Jefferson Elementary, student safety is paramount. Our staff is committed to providing a safe nurturing learning environment where students feel a sense of belonging while they are challenged academically. To ensure student safety, our School utilizes the Raptor Visitor Management System. All visitors required to check-in at our office when visiting the campus. The Raptor System allows us to screen visitors and volunteers in our schools to promote security on our campus.
