The purpose of the student dress code is to help each student set a standard for his/her personal appearance that is appropriate within the accepted standards of Clovis Unified School District.  The high school student is expected to demonstrate pride in his/her personal appearance, because it reflects individually on him/her and collectively on the school he/she attends. Dress code apparel allows us to distinguish between CHS students and non-CHS students, helping us to promote school safety. All apparel must comply with CUSD Dress Code (see CUSD Student and Parent Rights and Responsibilities for policies and regulations). The dress code shall be in effect when students are on campus and at all CUSD sponsored activities both on and off campus.
