    Step by Step College Planning

    Step 1: Testing

Reach out to your counselor to determine what test serves your needs.

Out of 36 points, the ACT has four sections - Math, English, Science, and Reading. Each are worth 36 points.

The SAT has 1600 possible points. The test is compromised of three main sections: Reading (400 points), Writing & Language (400 points), and Mathematics (800 points).

    Step 2: College Application

The Common Application (Common App) is a non-profit membership organization representing nearly 900 diverse institutions of higher education. We connect applicants and those who support them to a wide array of public and private colleges and universities across all 50 U.S. States and 20 countries.

    Step 3: Financial Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Financial aid is money to help pay for college or career school. Grants, work-study, loans, and scholarships help make college or career school affordable.
