Mrs. Main began teaching at GFMS in 2014. Prior to teaching at GFMS, Mrs. Main taught math and science for 13 years at William Lenoir Middle School. She received her BS in Chemistry and Secondary Education from East Tennessee State University in 1999. During her teaching career, Mrs. Main  has added a Middle Grade Certification in Mathematics and National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics.

In the fall of 2019, Mrs. Main transitioned from teaching in the general education classroom to teaching in the resource classroom. She loves working with students at GFMS who need a little extra help in math & reading!
