From the Physical Education Department:
As members of Hudson Elementary School we want to introduce ourselves and share our background with the faculty and the parents/guardians of our students.
My name is Bradley Clay and I am one of the teachers here at Hudson Elementary School. I was born and raised in Granite Falls, North Carolina. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2009 with a B.S. in Physical Education and a minor in Human Studies. I have a beautiful wife and three little boys ages 6, 5, and 3. I was a teacher assistant for two years in first grade and a substitute teacher for one year. This is my third year as a P.E. teacher and I am so excited about the opportunity to teach children lifelong physical activities while having fun in P.E. If you need to contact me you can call the school at (828) 728-3712 ext. 1119 or by email at bclay@caldwellschools.com. I look forward to this school year and the exciting possibilities.
My name is Moira Brookshire and this is my 12th year teaching Physical Education at Hudson Elementary School, but I have taught Health & Physical Education at South Caldwell High School for 14 years. I was born and raised in Concord, North Carolina. I graduated from Pfeiffer University with a B.S. degree in Health & Physical Education and I received my Master’s degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. I have 2 daughters, Addison 15 and Brylee 11. I have been married for 22 years. I am very excited about this school year beginning and working with your child. I look forward to seeing or hearing from you. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached via email- mbrookshire@caldwellschools.com or by phone- (828) 728-3712 Ext. 1119.
