2024 - 2025 CTE Internship Application
- Applications will be accepted through March 1st, 2024
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required
- It's highly recommended that a student completes a minimum of 2 CTE courses in a related program area prior to internship.
- 9th & 10th grade students are not eligible for career internships
- Acceptance and/or placement is not guaranteed
- If a student starts an internship but does not complete the required documentation and the required 120 hours, the student will receive a failing grade on their high school transcript
- Grades are calculated based on the standard numeric grading scale
CTE INTERNSHIPS PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO:
- explore career options of interest
- observe and engage with the world of work and develop necessary job skills for success
- apply knowledge and skills learned while further developing each within a specific career field
- learn workplace terminology, climate, and business/industry protocol specific for their CTE program area
- set and achieve individual goals and objectives for personal growth in the program area as well as job force
- earn elective credit outside the four walls of a classroom
