Hello, I'm Darcy Lord-Evans! I was born and raised in Indiana, and hold a degree in Elementary Education from Cedarville University, in Cedarville, Ohio. My family and I moved to Lenoir, North Carolina in 2006 and love the beauty of the foothills and enjoy all things outdoors (except camping!). After raising three wonderful daughters, I pursued a master's degree in School Counseling from Liberty University. My favorite thing about school counseling is its holistic approach which promotes attention to students' physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well being. I enjoy working with students to help them identify their personal strengths and how to use them to overcome obstacles and meet their goals. I am thankful to call Caldwell County home and love serving the families of GFMS!
