Welcome to Mrs. Stutts' website! I am new to Valmead Elementary School, but not new to Caldwell County Schools.  I have lived and taught in Caldwell County for 24 years and love this place! I am married to Troy Stutts, a Trooper here in Caldwell County Schools.  He loves making school visits to ensure that your child's school is safe.  He also loves coming into my classroom to visit.

I am not a mom, so I will never tell you how to parent.  But I love children and will always do what has their best interest at heart! Working with my students and their families gives me great JOY! I am a dog mom though, to Magnolia, a wild Yorkie. Plus, I have 2 nephews and 1 niece that I adore.    

I love hiking, nature, and anything outdoors! I grew up in the woods and love being outside every chance I get.  That love of nature is engrained in me, and I believe in teaching a love of it to children as well, so we get outside as much as possible to learn and play. 

I am here to be sure that each child that I have the blessing of teaching comes into my classroom and feels loved every single day.  I want them to be successful in all of the ways that they were made to be.  Some children love reading, some math, some art or music, and I want to foster what your child loves.
