Student Orientation and Open House
  • Open House and Orientation

Schools invite parents and students to attend student orientations before the official first day of school on August 28, 2023.

Parents will receive back-to-school information, including a school calendar, class schedule, transportation options, etc. More importantly, students can reconnect with friends, meet new ones before school, and get reenergized about beginning a new school year. Students enrolled in classes at the Caldwell Applied Sciences Academy (CASA) and Caldwell Early College High School (ECHS) start their new school year on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

  • Welcome Back to School from Superintendent Dr. Don Phipps

This time each year as school gets started I think about fresh starts and the promise that resides in each student and adult. I think about the roles of our educators, administrators, and support staff; these roles involve more than many will ever know and they are all critical in the educational process.

I swell with pride because I get to work with inspiring, enthusiastic students and dedicated parents and our professionals who lead by serving and modeling successful, productive careers. For our Caldwell County Schools family, I am excited to see you all make your mark this year and I am eager to support your work. While I hope everyone wants to improve on and increase their skills and practice lifelong learning, I believe students and educators, and those who support them, should stand proud this school year because of the opportunities that lie ahead and the collaboration and teamwork among this community to provide a top-notch education. For our families, team members and educators across the school district, I hope this school year is your best one yet!
