• Below are documents designed to make applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (also known as FAFSA) easier. Please note that information in these documents are geared toward completing the 2022-2023 FAFSA. FAFSA uses taxes from what is called prior-prior year, meaning 2 years before your student is supposed to start college. For the Class of 2022, FAFSA will use 2020 taxes.

    Example: If a student is graduating from high school in June 2022, they will use the 2022-2023 FAFSA because they will be starting college in Fall 2022. However, in order to complete the FAFSA, they will need to have their family's tax information from 2020 (2 years before). 

    If you are unable to find a copy of your taxes for the year you need, contact your tax preparer for a copy.
