Welcome to West Caldwell Family and Consumer Sciences.  I've been a teacher here since 2003 forcusing on teaching Foods I, Foods II and Interior Design.  I'm a native of Caldwell County living in Lenoir.  I'm a graduate of South Caldwell High School, Lenoir-Rhyne University, and Appalachian State University and have taken additional courses at the University of Pheonix and Colorado State University.  Prior to West Caldwell I taught 13 years at Caldwell Community College and worked in private industry for 12 years.  For fun I enjoy being with my family, hanging with friends, playing the church organ, teaching piano lessons, playing in community theater orchestras, being a historical docent reenactor for both Colonial America and American Civil War periods, researching family tree, historic architecture, gardening, and shopping estate sales.
