  • I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child business, get to know your child, and help them succeed in their education. I will have your child every day for a 9-week period. No homework will be given out unless your child does not finish during the school day or is absent. If they are absent, they have three days to make up their work without points deducted.

    Last year, I added a student coffee bar to my classroom as part of my incentive plan. Every Friday students who have completed all of their work and exhibited excellent behavior will be offered the chance to use my coffee bar. I will provide a cup and the Keurig. Students will have to bring a K-Cup of their choice (coffee, tea, or hot chocolate) and an unopened bottle of water. This will be offered on a trial basis in hopes of boosting morale.  

    For each grade level, there is different content which I have broken down below.

    • BU202YB Exploring Economic Systems-7th Grade

    • BU202YD Exploring Business Procedures & Leadership-8th Grade

    As for supplies, the only thing I request is a pencil. My wish list includes Kleenex, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. No paper is required as your child will have a digital folder to store their work.  I will be using Canvas this year and ask you to please be patient. I have been using Google Classroom for the past several years.
