Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

My name is Josh Reed, and I am excited to begin my 8th year at GFMS alongside your students.  I will be teaching math to half of the 8th graders this year.  I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but grew up right here in Granite Falls.  I began my teaching career in 2015, and I have had the privilege of teaching math in 8th, 7th, and 6th grade.I personally understand that math can be a student’s most frustrating class, but I also believe that success in math can be the most rewarding.  I know that all students can be successful in math, and I am excited to get to celebrate that with you!
