My name is Susan Keener and I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Dudley Shoals Elementary. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 1991 with a degree in History with a certification in secondary education. Since then, I taught fourth grade and raised a family. In 2006 I began working at Dudley as a teacher assistant in first grade. I fell in love with 1st grade and added a K-6 Elementary Education certification to my current teaching certificate. My husband Keith and I live in Hudson along with our daughter Holli and a horse named Harley. I am looking forward to a great year with your children.
