I am a native of Burke County, but most of my teaching career has been here in Caldwell County.  I enjoy collecting antiques, the beach, basketball, and candle-making.  Over the years God blessed me with six incredibly awesome sons!  (John, Joshua, Jeremiah, Joseph, Jesse and James)  They are truly my pride and joy!  I believe it is my love for children that drew me to the teaching profession.  It is my desire to have a positive impact on the education of each student that walks through my classroom door!  These young people are "OUR LEADERS" of tomorrow!
