Experience
I have worked in education for 8 years and so thankful that all 8 of those years have been here at GMS. A place I consider my home. I obtained my Master of Science in Health and Physical Education in 2018. I have since used that education to redesign our PE curriculum into one that encourages participation in athletics as well as promoting healthy living for our students futures. 
Favorite Educational Quote and Why
"Never say never because limits, like fears, are often just illusions." -Micheal Jordan.  This applies to education because I believe our students should never limit themselves based on challenges that they may face in life. They can achieve anything they want to achieve as long as they believe in themselves and do the work.
Why I Became An Educator
I am an educator because I was inspired by the many coaches and teachers I had growing up. I also hope to be that person for a student. Making sure they are successful and have the support they need is the most important role we can play as an educator.
Favorite Places in Caldwell County
Hibriten Mountain overlook is one of my favorite spots in Caldwell County. The hike is LONG but the view from the top is amazing!
Activites 
Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and traveling. Covington, Georgia is my favorite relaxing weekend getaway.
