My name is Nichole Frasure, and I currently teach eighth-grade Language Arts and Social Studies at Granite Falls Middle School.  I graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Middle Grades Education with certifications in Language Arts and Social Studies. 

I was born and raised in Ashe County, North Carolina.  I moved to Lenoir in 2002 to take a teaching position at Gamewell Middle School.  After teaching there for two years, I was privileged to be part of the Vikings family at Kings Creek School for seventeen years.  In 2021, I decided to move closer to home to join the fantastic eighth-grade team at Granite Falls Middle School.  I live in Hickory, NC,  with my wonderful husband and two amazing boys.  In my spare time, I like to exercise, cook, travel, fish, play ball with my boys, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to another great year at GFMS!
