• Hudson Elementary's Safety Patrol team is comprised of fifth grade students who were nominated by their fourth grade teachers. School Safety Patrol membership is a position of honor that is steeped in tradition dating back to 1920. The primary purpose of the program is to enhance the safety of our students. In addition, this promotes the development of leadership skills and good citizenship qualities. A safety patrol's job is to model for students the safety rules that have been taught in the school and to assist students in safe transitions throughout the building. In addition, team members are responsible for the raising and lowering of the flags each day.
