My name is Jessica Overmyer, and I am so excited and honored to be the assistant principal at Gamewell Elementary School. 

I am a native of Caldwell County, and attended school K-12 in Caldwell County Schools.  Caldwell County is a place so special to me and my family, and we love being part of the community.  I attended Lenoir Rhyne University, where I received my Teaching English as a Second Language degree Bachelor's degree.  I also earned my Master's in School Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University.  I taught at West Caldwell for several years, before I started as a school counselor at Hibriten High School in 2012, and worked there until 2020.  I received my Master's in School Administration from Gardner Webb University in 2013 as well.  Thank you all for your support, and know I am here to help you however I can.  I feel truly blessed to be part of the Gamewell community.
