• In music class we sing, we dance, and we play.  We listen to classical, jazz, and folk music from near and far and throughout history. Students become composers and critics.  They perform songs with musical accompaniment on percussion instruments of all kinds, and improvise melodies of their own.  We take trips around the world with Google Earth to explore different cultures and listen their music. We learn to read music and play djembe drums in third, recorder in fourth, and ukulele in fifth.  We take our first steps to becoming musicians and informed listeners. We also have a lot of fun!
