Mrs. Julie D. Hall

Hello! I am very pleased to be serving the students, staff, and families of Caldwell County Schools in the 2023-24 school year as the Director/Principal of Caldwell Online Academy, the newest school in the Caldwell County School district. This will be my third year of working exclusively with CCS's online students and families.

I am a proud graduate of the Caldwell County School system, as are my husband, both of my daughters, and my son-in-law. I know first-hand how amazing our teachers are and how well they prepare our students to be successful after high school across a wide range of life goals!

Following my college graduation from Appalachian State University, I spent a decade as a commercial lender with First Citizens Bank and BB&T. I then chose to stay home full-time with my daughters for a few years while serving as a school volunteer. Next, I transitioned to education through the lateral entry process via the NC Teach program at Lenoir-Rhyne University.  I spent 7 years as an English teacher at West Caldwell High School, earned a master's degree from ASU, and served 9 years as an assistant principal at South Caldwell High School prior to joining the Caldwell Online program in 2021. I have truly enjoyed my educational career with Caldwell County Schools, and I look forward to many more productive years of service with our school district.
