About me:

Hi! I am Mrs. Meaghan Walters and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be my 10th year teaching at Coltrane-Webb and my 11th year teaching kindergarten overall. 

I grew up mainly in Hampton, Virginia.  As I am a “military brat”, I have moved a few times, but I was fortunate enough to live for several years in Virginia. I have been married to my husband, who is a teacher at Concord Middle, for 10 years. We are also blessed to have three daughters - Amalie (who is in first grade this year!), Adalena (3 years old) and Aurora (1 year old). Our family also has several cats, a dog and several chickens! 

I graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education.  

I then graduated with my Masters in Arts of Teaching in 2012.
