Welcome to Cabarrus County Schools!
I specialize in helping students and parents with substance abuse prevention. I am passionate about helping people and collaborating with the community. I believe we are all wired for struggle and we can help make a huge difference in everyone’s life.
In my role as the student assistance program specialist, I provide informal assessments, psychoeducation, coping skills for students and families, and resources/referrals to our community partners in substance abuse and community interventions.
I have worked for Cabarrus County Schools since 2003 and have a Bachelor's in Sociology and a Master's in School Counseling from UNC Charlotte. I am a Resiliency Educator with Reconnect for Resilience, EMDR certified, a Trauma-Skilled Schools Specialist and trained in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. It is my pleasure to serve the students, parents, and community of Cabarrus County!
