Dr. Karen Conner

Welcome to my webpage. My name is Karen Conner, and I am excited to be in my 34th year of teaching- my seventh at Central Cabarrus High School. Previously, I have taught in West Virginia, Kannapolis City Schools, and Stanly County Schools. I have taught all grade levels of high school English as well as Biology, Earth Science, and various electives. I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in December of 2019 with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. I look forward to a great semester.

 

For the 2022-2023 school year, I will be teaching English II during the first semester and Earth Science during the second semester. In the 2nd semester, I will be teaching Earth Science and will be located in room 310 at extension 40310.

    I use the REMIND app and website to keep both students and parents up to date on assignments, progress reports, report cards, and due dates as well as our Canvas course. Parents, please sign up for your child's class to stay informed. The REMIND app is great for class messages, but students and parents can send individual messages to the teacher as well.
