Ms. Kimberly Tobin

Hello! My name is Kimberly Tobin and this is my 4th year of teaching and my 2nd full year at West Cabarrus. I taught at Cox Mill High School previously . I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in May 2000 and have been a Registered Nurse for the past 22 years.  Most of my nursing experience has been in Newborn ICU and Pediatrics. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, a doctor's office, home care, and schools. I earned my National School Nurse Certification in July 2017. I am very excited to be teaching Foundations of Health Science and BMT 1. I look forward to a wonderful school year!  

I have two children: Nicholas, age 19, and Alexis, age 17. My son graduated from CMHS and is attending NC State.  My daughter is in her senior year at CMHS. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my kids, reading, listening to music, exercising, shopping, baking and going to the barn to spend time with and ride my horses. I have two horses, Charity and Blue (who is a rescue). In addition to the horses, I also have a dog and five cats! All of them were rescues. If you can't tell, I am a HUGE animal lover!
