Mrs. Julie Smith

Welcome! My name is Julie Smith. I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  This is my eighth year working for Cabarrus County Schools, my first 18 years were in Kannapolis City Schools. I have taught in blended classrooms and self-contained Exceptional Children's classroom as well. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia State College, my Birth-Kindergarten licensure from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a MED in Child and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

 I am originally from West Virginia and currently live in Kannapolis. I am married with two children and I have one grandson. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and visiting new places.
