Ms. Kendra Ogden

Hello everyone!

This will be my second year teaching 3rd grade at CWES. I moved here from Colorado last summer with my husband and our cat, Loki. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and a Business Specialization Certificate from Front Range Community College. I started my teaching career late in the game after rediscovering my love of learning while experiencing many jobs, from manufacturing to healthcare. While working as a registrar at an emergency department in Colorado, I was heartbroken to see so many at-risk children. I decided to use my passion for learning to become a positive force in the world, and to help those that can't yet help themselves.

I am often asked why I chose Concord to move to instead of staying in Colorado, or anywhere else in the United States. My first reason is: I hate snow. Most importantly, though, I love the people. I could not have asked for a more wonderfully diverse and positive culture than I have found here in Concord and at Coltrane Webb. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people. I have found a school I would love to be a part of for many years to come, while I was living half-way across the country.
