Mrs. McManus

Hello! My name is Mrs. McManus and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade at Coltrane-Webb STEM this year. This will be my fifth year teaching in the upper grades and my fourth year here at Coltrane-Webb STEM. I obtained my degree in elementary education from the wonderful Appalachian State University in May of 2018. Go, Mountaineers!

I was born and raised here in North Carolina and have loved every minute of it. In my free time, I love to travel everywhere and anywhere. From the beaches and mountains of North Carolina to countries all around the world. My hobbies include spending time with my family, swimming, and listening to music. I have two dogs, Goose and Chewy, that I am obsessed with. I also have a wonderful class pet named Moe. He is the cutest guinea pig with a mohawk that I know!

I am eager to go on this journey with you and your child! I truly believe that all children can be successful in the classroom. When students feel safe, loved and are in a welcoming environment, where all are welcome, anything is possible. Let's make this year a great one!
