• COVID Update — April 1, 2022

As you are likely aware, the region is seeing an uptick in new COVID cases. We are experiencing some of those trends here at school as well. We’re continuing to focus on flexibility, choice wherever possible and making reasonable targeted adjustments as needed. To that end, please note that in situations where there are more than 3 students on a given roster who are COVID positive during the 0-5 day range, the students in that class will be required to wear a mask indoors for the remainder of 10 days from the last exposure in that class. KN-95 masks continue to be available at school for those who need them. We are asking students in these classes to keep distanced while eating and teachers in these classes will be asked to provide as much distance as possible during instruction.  We are not planning on going remote for any classes, but will monitor absence levels accordingly.

It should be noted that we have only had one class where this approach became necessary. We’re certainly hopeful that this approach will be needed rarely, but wanted you to be aware of this plan should it be instituted for your child’s class.
