• COVID Update — Jan. 19, 2022

    Dear Families,

    Thank you for all that you are doing to keep yourselves and each other safe. Our numbers are leveling off and on the decline from where they had peaked. Our current active cases on the county list are:

    Council Rock Primary School: 8

    French Road Elementary School: 10

    Twelve Corners Middle School: 3

    Brighton High School: 12

    Our absence rate today was 8.4% for students and 8.9% for staff. Those are way down from a peak on Jan. 7 of 17.9% for students and 14.1% for staff. Thank you again to our staff for “making it work” so that we can remain in person and to our school community for their patience and support. Again, we are not anticipating any need to “go remote.” We’re in better shape each day and have not come close to a need to do so. It seems to us as though vigilance with regard to masking has been key as has the high rate of vaccination and boostering for those eligible.
