At West Hills STEM Academy, we utilize resources and tools to promote proactive and positive corrections to misbehavior as part of our School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions & Support.

Components of this in our school include our recognitions for our students and our School-Wide CHAMPs Implementation in our common areas. Look for these posters throughout our hallways! 

In our school, we are CHAMPS! We pay attention to the CHAMPS expectations so that we know what the expected behavior is in different locations.

• C stands for Conversation. It lets you know what kind of voice you can use.
• H stands for Help. It lets you know how to get help if you need it.
• A stands for Activity. It is what you are supposed to be doing.
• M stands for Movement. It tells you if you can be up and moving.
• P stands for Participation. It tells you how you should be participating.
• S stands for Success! It tells you how you know if you are being a CHAMP.
