Our Mission Statement

Our mission at Armin Jahr Elementary is to provide guidance so students can: meet their educational needs in a safe and caring environment, acquire and apply identified essential learning skills, learn and practice social skills, contribute as responsible citizens of our school and community, and discover and reach their full potential.

In order to accomplish this mission, our staff is committed to nurturing each child as a unique individual, working cooperatively with parents, modeling life-long learning, planning and implementing procedures to ensure student safety, and offering learning options for academic growth with an emphasis on the essential learning requirements.

Armin Jahr sits on eight acres and has 39,761 square feet of building space available for general use; a library, a gym, and classrooms. The school was opened in 1968 and remodeled in 1994.
